Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you upload a photo we store the original filename, the file size in kilobytes, the conversion status and your IP address. We keep this record so we can rate-limit abuse and diagnose failed conversions. We do not store the image itself after conversion finishes.
We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and conversion events. Analytics data is aggregated and does not include the content of your photos.
Human verification
Before a conversion starts we run Cloudflare Turnstile, a CAPTCHA alternative that checks whether the request looks like it comes from a person rather than a script. Turnstile reads browser signals and your IP address inside Cloudflare's infrastructure.
We never receive the challenge itself, only a pass or fail result, and we do not store it. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers how they handle that data.
How long we keep files
Uploaded HEIC files are deleted immediately after conversion. Converted JPG files are removed from our servers within 60 minutes, and conversion records without a stored image are retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention.
Metadata removal
Converted images are stripped of EXIF, GPS coordinates and embedded color profiles. If you need to keep that information, convert locally instead — the original HEIC on your device is never modified.
Your choices
You can use this service without an account and without providing an email address. Conversion records are kept for up to 30 days for abuse prevention, then purged automatically; nothing else about you is retained.
